How do I secure your service and how early should I book?
An appointment / service is booked when we receive the deposit (50% of the services booked) and signed contract. You can book as early or as late as you want, but we recommend doing it as soon as you make the decision so we can save the date & time for you. We suggest booking your Trial Session at least 5~6 months before your wedding, and book your wedding day services at least 3~4 months before the big day.
When do I pay the full amount for my services:
Full payment (or any remaining balance) is due two weeks prior to the appointment date.
Do you travel to me for makeup and hair services?
Yes, we provide on-location service for wedding day and event (travel fee may apply). Please inquire for more information on our traveling policy and out-of-county or destination services.
Will you stay at my event for touch ups?
We do offer On-Location Touch Up service. It’s useful if you plan to change your makeup or hair throughout the event, or if you like to have someone be there to do touch ups for you during the event or photo shoot. Please let us know when you make the inquiry so we can discuss options and rates.
Do I need to do a Trial? Is it really necessary?
We highly recommend doing a Trial Makeup & Hair Session for your wedding. It’ll give us the opportunity to meet you in person and get to know you, so we can create the perfect hair and makeup look for you on the most important day of your life.
What is included in the Bridal Trial?
The Trial Session takes about 3 hours.
Session includes quick consultation, skin and hair condition analysis, recommendations, and custom makeup with foundation, highlight & contour, eyebrow shaping, eye shape adjustment, eye makeup, false lashes, lip color, etc. and two hairstyles.
What happens at the trial session?
We ask that you bring inspiration pictures to share with us. During the Trial Session, we will do a consultation on your skin and your hair & makeup. You will get to try on full Bridal Makeup and up to 2 hairstyles. We will spend the time to make little adjustments or try different things to ensure that you will be a beautiful, happy bride. We recommend bringing your veil and accessories to try on, and we suggest wearing a white tank or tube top that has a similar neckline to your wedding gown.
Can I book Trials or Engagement Sessions on weekends?
Of course you can. But because most weddings are scheduled on weekends, our availability is not as flexible for other bookings. We recommend booking the Trial Session or the E-session on a weekday.
What do I need to do to prepare for the Trial Session/Engagement Session?
For all Hair & Makeup Appointments: 1. Gather pictures of makeup and hair looks that you like. 2. Come to the appointment with freshly cleansed and moisturized face and clean, dry hair. 3. Wear button-down shirts or bring a robe to wear so you won’t have a hard time changing into your dress after hair and makeup.
For Trial Session: Bring your veil, accessories and pictures of your wedding gown for reference.
What is included in the Bridal Makeup and Hair?
The Bridal Makeup and Hair includes one custom makeup with foundation, highlight and contour, blush, false lashes, eyebrow shaping, eye shape adjustment, eye makeup, lip color, etc. and one bridal hairstyling that includes hair setting, curling, and styling. And, of course, our undivided attention! (Face & Body Airbrush upgrade is available upon request for an additional charge.)
What is included in the Bridesmaid/Mom’s makeup and hair?
The bridal party’s makeup and hair includes one daytime/evening makeup with optional false lashes application and one hairdo of choice. (Face and/or Body Airbrush upgrade is available upon request for an additional charge)
How long does it take to do the makeup and hair?
Bride (Wedding day): 3~4 hours for hair + makeup.
Trial Sessions: ~3 hours
Engagement Sessions: ~2 hours
Special Events Hair & Makeup: 1.5~2 hours / person
Bridesmaids/ Moms: 1.5~2 hours/person
What size party can you accommodate?
I can do up to 10 people provided we have enough time. It all depends on what time you have to be ready that day. If we have 10 girls and you have to be ready at 10 in the morning then I will need to have another artist to assist me. I do have other artists I can call on to help if there is too short of a time frame to work with or for parties larger than 10.
What if I want to do a trial run to decide if I want to book your services?
You are more than welcome to book a trial run to decide if you want to book my services. Most people know just by looking at my work and past reviews that they want to book me. If you are still unsure we can definitely book your trial run before hand. Just remember that doing a trial run does not secure your date. If someone else calls and is ready to book before your trial run your date might get taken. Most of the time this isn’t an issue but just want you to be aware that it has happened in some cases.
On my wedding day do I come to you, or do you travel to my venue (or location where I am getting ready)?
I will do whatever works best for you. I have some clients that come to me but the majority of my clients want me to come to their location. Me coming to you helps to reduce time and stress for that day and also helps things flow smoothly.
What forms of payment are accepted
